From Kodiak Brown Bears to fuzzy little weasels can be found on expeditions out of Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge. A favorite hike starts right here at the lodge and goes up the mountain behind, which opens up into a great bowl. There we may spot the Elk herd with their new born calves, or Sitka Blacktailed deer with twin fawns. Vegetation, however, is often lush, and we must look hard!
Here for a week of fun, activity, rest and relaxation, I have enjoyed the days tremendously. I love finding new things to do and try and this trip had many of those.
