The four of us had such a great time we booked again for this coming year. Great fishing, food, and hospitality. Can’t wait for the return trip! This was absolutely our best memories of 2020!

Amazingly we were able to go on this bucket list trip during COVID!!! First time to Alaska, and this was the the best. 3 days fishing and one day bear view. I am trying to explain the visit, but it was so totally amazing. Upon arrival, we were geared up and went out to fish immediately. We had amazing fishing every time we went out. For me, Lisa, it was first time fishing, first time on float plane, alot of firsts. I caught the biggest fish though! 115 halibut is what I am told. After full day fishing, my husband loved the kegorator on shore. I enjoyed the hors devors made by Chef, ready on arrival back at the lodge. Our cabin was beautiful, cozy and comfortable. Slept like a baby each night. Great meals, lunches and snacks on boat daily. The float plane pilots were great. The bear viewing guide was amazing, just like Grizzly Adams. We got so close to the big brown bears, but were assured they were sufficiently occupied with the salmon. Always felt safe. Went for a hike after bear viewing up above the lodge. It was just a super place, super people. Birch and Tiffany, their kids and the crew, along with friends we made – everyone was super easy to get along. We had the best best time and will always recommend Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge!

Immediately felt at home when we got there! We were genuinely welcomed to the Island and instantly felt a connection to Birch, Tiffany, staff and even the other guests. It was amazing and a special glimpse into Alaska. Fishing was surreal as we not only caught amazing fish, but did it surrounded by such beautiful scenery and wildlife like whales, otters, puffins, etc. The Bear viewing was also incredible because we saw so many awesome bears showing off their personality and loved the seaplane ride out. One of our favorite things though was the late night evening around the dinner table, singing songs as another guest played guitar, drinking too much wine/scotch, and laughing with people we just met like we had known them for years! Birch & Tiffany…. drink a toast to Wednesdays!

Astounding adventure searching for huge halibut & jumping silver salmon – excellent guiding, meals, provisions, & compaionship.

Amazing place with so much attention to detail! It was the perfect family vacation and had something for every member of our family. We especially enjoyed the staff. They all worked extremely hard to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. I don’t know how we are ever going to top this one.

In spite of being the first and only guest during our stay due to Covid19 our vacation was “awesome”. We wanted our grandson, Noah to have a true Alaskan experience and Raspberry Island more than met those expectations. Fishing, hiking, float plane ride to see the bears, landing on a glacier lake and all the delicious meals we ate made this one of our best vacations ever. Noah’s words on the evening before our departure, “I wish we could stay another week” says it all. Thank you Birch, Tiffany, your family and all the staff for a fantastic time in one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited.

Life time of memories in 2014 thanks to Birch, Tiffany and the entire crew. Fishing, kayaking, glacier fly over and bear viewing was superb. Coming back this summer with my my wife (first time) and my father (third time). Can’t wait!

The waters were rough today but what a wonderful way to celebrate our fishing day.

Another year to catch great halibut!

Amazing place! We had a wonderful time, everything was well done. The staff was so friendly and fun to be around. The meals were fantastic and the fishing was great, the boat captains were top notch, and fun to be with. The surroundings where absolutely beautiful. We have been to other lodges but this lodge is by far the best we have ever been to!
