Relax.

Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge has always been an activity-driven destination. Over time, we’ve come to appreciate just as much the quiet moments between those outings—time to slow down, recover, and take in the setting.
In addition to the privacy of your cabin, we offer a Nordic-inspired spa designed to complement the rhythm of your day—whether as recovery after hours on the water or as a slower pause in between.
Our wood-fired banya—a traditional Russian-style sauna with deep roots in coastal Alaska—provides steady, enveloping heat, dry or steam, that settles into muscle and bone. The wood for the fire is driftwood, typically Sitka spruce or cedar logs that have washed up on local beaches, and is collected, cut, split, and dried over the course of the year.
Just steps away, the outdoor jetted hot tub sits open to the sky, overlooking the ocean and surrounding mountains. For those drawn to contrast, a wooden cold plunge, chilled by local Iron Creek—or the nearby Pacific itself—offers a bracing reset.
Beyond the spa, observation decks overlooking Raspberry Strait and the private beach below the lodge offer space to sit, read, or watch weather and wildlife move across the water. Whether easing sore shoulders after a long day or starting the morning more slowly, this part of the lodge is simply there — to be used as you need it.
