Fishing in Kodiak, Alaska

from Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge centers on species such as Pacific halibut, king salmon, sockeye salmon, and silver salmon—along with lingcod, rockfish, Pacific cod, and tanner (Snow) crab—within one of the most productive marine environments in coastal Alaska.
Our remote location and protected starting point within Raspberry Strait allows for quick access to productive saltwater fishing, and, during the right season, nearby rivers for spin or fly fishing for sockeye and silver salmon.
Targeting and catching multiple species in a single day is common, with each trip shaped by the season and interests of those aboard.
Our three hydrofoil-assist catamarans were designed and built for efficient access along remote shorelines and for comfortably fishing these waters. Each vessel carries no more than six guests, with private boat reservations available for those seeking a more exclusive experience.
Every boat is fully outfitted with high-quality rods, reels, tackle, and safety equipment, allowing guests to focus on fishing rather than logistics.
At day’s end, your catch is handled with the care good food deserves from the moment it is harvested — bled, filleted, vacuum-sealed, labeled, frozen, and packed in our custom insulated, airline-approved waxed fish boxes for transport home. Each group leaves with the fish they harvested during their stay: Grade A Alaskan seafood, hand caught on these waters, carefully prepared, clearly labeled, and forever linked to the memories of Raspberry Island.
Many who fish here return year after year, drawn back to familiar water and the steady pull of what waits in the deep.
