We designed our three boats

—Savvy, Serendipity, and Serenity—for our location and the way we operate here on Raspberry Island, and had them custom built by our Alaska-based company, Alaskan Aluminum Power Catamarans. Purpose-built for the waters of the Kodiak Island Archipelago, Savvy and Serendipity measure 39’ × 14½’, while Serenity is 34’ × 13’.
Their hydrofoil-assist catamaran design delivers a stable, comfortable ride at 25–30 knots, allowing us to travel efficiently and maximize fishing time each day.
Each vessel features a hydraulic drop-bow ramp, allowing guests to step directly aboard from our beaches—no docks or ladders. Wide walkways and a single-level deck make movement easy while fishing or sightseeing. Fully enclosed, heated cabins provide seating, visibility, and a private bathroom with flush toilet.
These are serious fishing platforms, equipped with advanced navigation and fish-finding electronics, including detailed seafloor mapping systems. Over time, we’ve developed proprietary charts revealing productive bottom not shown on standard GPS.
Each boat is outfitted with Seeker stand-up and trolling rods paired with Accurate reels, TFO spinning rods with Penn reels, and Echo fly rods with Orvis reels, along with Daiwa electric setups when needed. We fish braided line with fluorocarbon leaders.
We limit each vessel to no more than six guests, maintaining space, comfort, and a focused guide-to-angler experience. Savvy, Serendipity, and Serenity were designed and built specifically for Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge—and for your time on the water here.
