At Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge, we have developed programs to utilize some of the different opportunities that this area provides, while customizing each to different visitor’s tastes.  Note: If you are already in Anchorage and would like us to include round trip transportation to the lodge from Anchorage, Alaska, please mention it and we are happy to book you on a commercial flight and include it in your package.

Our standard packages include:

• A beautiful location in the remote wilderness surrounded by ocean and 2,000 foot mountains with amazing views of the surrounding flora and fauna.
• All lodging in heated private guest cabins with beautiful views, cold water half bath, comfortable mattresses, fresh flannel sheets, and blankets.
• Comfortable main lodge, boasting the surrounding views, a large lounge with woodstove, rustic furniture and local art, spacious dining room with hand built tables, and a large open kitchen to watch our chef at work and enjoy hors d’oeuvres.
• Hot tub, hot showers, and hot banya (sauna), including fresh, clean towels, soap and shampoo.
• Laundry facility for guests’ use.
• Twenty four hour hydro electric generated electricity, backed up by a quiet diesel generator, only if needed.
• Wireless internet.
• Home cooked meals featuring local Alaskan Seafood, fresh salads, choice cuts of meat, handmade breads, and delicious desserts.
• Activities fully guided and outfitted, including Fishing, Kayaking, Hiking, Fly Out Bear Viewing, and Photography.
• Complete fish processing, vacuum sealing, and freezing.
• Gift store at the lodge to browse through at guests’ leisure.
• Round trip transportation by boat or a local sea plane charter to Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge from the Kodiak City Airport.
• NOT INCLUDED: fishing licenses, they are available online at the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.

Fisherman’s Trip:

Six night stay, with five full days of guided and outfitted fishing, targeting your desired catch.  Many guests come just to fish and we don’t blame you.  This is your trip.  Included is an arrival the evening before the first day of fishing in time to settle in, enjoy a glass of wine or cold beer, hot tub, shower, and hors d’oeuvres before dinner.  This package also includes a departure the morning following your last day of fishing after hot coffee and delicious breakfast.  These arrival and departure days may include some fishing as well, based on tides, weather, and your enthusiasm, and will certainly include opportunities to see more of our area’s beauty.  Price per person: $3,855.

Also: Still enjoy five days of fishing, but show up at the lodge on the morning of your first day of fishing at about 9:00am after a flight out from Kodiak City, and depart after dinner on your last day.  It is important to note that the fish you catch on your last day will not be frozen on your trip home.  Price per person:  $3,485.

New: Shorter, four night stay, with three full days of guided and outfitted fishing, targeting your desired catch.  Arrive the evening before your first day of fishing, and depart the morning after your last day of fishing.  Price per person:  $2,601.

Explorer Package:

Six night stay, with two full days of guided and outfitted fishing, fly out bear view, and two full days of kayaking and/or hiking and resulting photographic opportunities.  This is very popular with guests interested in a sampling of what we can do here.  Included is an arrival the evening before the first day of activities in time to settle in, enjoy a glass of wine or cold beer, hot tub, shower, and hors d’oeuvres before dinner.  This package also includes a departure the morning following your last day of activities after hot coffee and delicious breakfast.  These arrival and departure days may include some fishing as well, based on tides, weather, and your enthusiasm, and will certainly include opportunities to see more of our area’s beauty. Price per person: $3,534.   

Also: Still enjoy five days of activities, but show up at the lodge on the morning of your first day at about 9:00am after a flight out from Kodiak City, and depart after dinner on your last day.  Price per person:  $3,164.

New: Shorter, four night stay, with one full day of guided and outfitted fishing, fly out bear view, and remaining day of kayaking and/or hiking.  Arrive the evening before your first day of activities, and depart the morning after your last day of activities.  Price per person:  $2,537.

Wilderness Explorer Package:

Four night stay, with two days of kayaking and/or hiking, one day of sea life viewing from a boat, and an upgraded five hour fly out glacier and bear view. This is very popular with guests interested in a sampling of what we can do here, with an emphasis on non fishing activities.  Included is an arrival in the morning on the first day, to be picked up at the Kodiak City Airport and taken directly on your bear and glacier view.  After this phenomenal experience, your pilot/guide will fly you directly to the lodge in time to settle in, enjoy a glass of wine or cold beer, hot tub, shower, and hors d’oeuvres before dinner.  This package also includes a departure the morning following your last day of activities after hot coffee and delicious breakfast.  These arrival and departure days  will certainly include opportunities to see more of our area’s beauty. Price per person: $2,907.

Also, the same package as the above, but substituting a shorter two and a half hour flight-see for the five hour glacier and bear view.  Fly over glaciers, wild life, and beautiful scenery while focusing less time on the ground.  Price per person:  $2,557

Naturalist Package:

Six night stay, with five full days of guided and outfitted kayaking and/or hiking. This is an excellent trip for folks interested in the area’s unbelievable beauty, flora, and fauna, and resulting photographic opportunities. Included is an arrival the evening before the first day of kayaking and/or hiking in time to settle in, enjoy a glass of wine or cold beer, hot tub, shower, and hors d’oeuvres before dinner.  This package also includes a departure the morning following your last day after hot coffee and delicious breakfast.  These arrival and departure days will certainly include opportunities to see more of our area’s beauty. Price per person: $2,570.  

Also: Still enjoy five days of activities, but show up at the lodge on the morning of your first day at about 9:00am after a flight out from Kodiak City, and depart after dinner on your last day.  Price per person:  $2,200.
