As a remote Kodiak Island Wilderness Lodge on Raspberry Island, we are a member of a friendly few who have chosen the pursuit of sharing the unbelievable wilderness we live in with others.

Raspberry Island Remote Camps has been set up with a “roughing it easy” feel, offering guests many comforts of the modern world, while hinting at the fact that we are on a Remote Island in the middle of the Kodiak Island Archipelago, Alaska.  Our lodge was professionally built from locally milled Sitka Spruce and is designed to take advantage of the spectacular views of the ocean, mountains and wildlife surrounding our property.  A large open kitchen, spacious dining room, and comfortable lounge all welcome guests after a tiring day of fun.  Our hydroelectric power is a luxury in the wilderness, and wireless internet keeps us connected to the ‘rest of the world.’

Your warm, private guest cabin comfortably sleeps four individuals, or a family of 5, and has an indoor cold water half bath.  We only offer four guest cabins, and allocate each based on the privacy of your group.  Couples always enjoy their own cabin.  We have two centrally located bath houses only steps away from each guest cabin, each with a separate, dedicated shower room for each cabin.  Guests also enjoy our outdoor jetted hot tub and cedar lined banya (local word for sauna).  After the evening meal you can relax around the lodge, enjoy the quiet of the evening on one of our decks or around our fire pit, or return to the privacy of your cabin for a comfortable evening's rest in preparation for the next day's adventure.  We are happy to reserve the entire lodge and staff for eight or more adults traveling together, and never host more than sixteen.

Meals are prepared in our open kitchen and served family style, featuring tasty hors d’oeuvres, local Alaskan seafood, choice cuts of meat, fresh salads, home made breads, and delicious desserts.  Lunches are typically served in the field and are either pre ordered and prepared at the beginning of the day, or are cooked fresh over an open fire on a local beach.  We serve complimentary beer on tap from the Kodiak Island Brewing Company and wine with the evening meals.  You are welcome to bring your own favorite beverages, and discrete smoking is allowed outside.  Upon booking, guests are asked to fill out our personal data sheet, which simply helps us to even further accommodate your individual preferences and tastes during your stay.
