The Gemini is a thirty seven foot aluminum catamaran, custom built for Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge by Maxweld Boats in Oregon. She is powered by twin Yanmar three hundred fifteen horsepower diesel engines, with special Sea Rider surface piercing drives to increase speed and performance, while decreasing fuel consumption. Her fishing deck alone is thirteen feet long by twelve feet wide, complimented by her full width landing platform off the stern and access door. Her cabin is spacious, heated, and comfortable with excellent views and seating for the minimal number of only six passengers we allow on board. Her stand up, private bathroom is not always common to fishing boats in Alaska. She is graceful in foul weather (that we avoid) and is the ideal mode of transportation in the Kodiak area. Finally, she is without question a perfect platform from which to target these fish, and is outfitted with four electric Scotty Downriggers, complete sets of stand up, trolling, mooching, and spinning tackle by G. Loomis, Lamiglass, Penn, and Accurate Reels. We invite you onboard.
