Kodiak Raspberry Island Remote Lodge

A Humble Thank You

Tiffany and I would like to thank those of you who are joining us again this year on Raspberry Island.  Returning guests and those of you who have been referred to us by a past guest make up a large part of our business every year.  This year we are humbled to say that our five private cabins are nearly all reserved for the rest of 2013.  While we still do have some availability and invite your interest in 2013, we also strongly encourage those considering a trip in 2014 or 2015 to start the communication process as soon as you’re comfortable.  We are taking reservations for 2014 and 2015 and some weeks are already filling up.

One way we thank our guests for their support is to invest much of our earnings back into this property; a piece of property that was simply bare land when my parents moved our family here in 1983.  Last year, for example, additions on our cabins now include hot shower in each cabin to complete a the full bathroom; in the past we had separate shower houses.  Our new walk in freezer in the fish house was completed and also a huge asset.  This year we invested in a new catamaran, the Artemis, to join the Gemini in hosting our fishermen.  Each improvement, however, is just a small detail compared to the environment we live in; the land, the sea, the animals and fishes that live right around us.  I think this is why our guests love Raspberry Island and the area we call home.  We feel our job is to make enjoying that experience as comfortable as possible.

Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you soon.
